Good news all lovers of beautiful things - we have a new designer on board! Victoria joins us as a consultant with years of expertise in brand management, marketing strategies, product prototyping and customer experience. And on top of that, she’s also a creative design wizard.
Victoria joins us from the analytics company Verto where she was a pivotal part of the team that is responsible for the brand, visual identity and the digital ecosystem flow within the company. She’s won her spurs from companies like Nokia and Microsoft, and - believe or not - she’s designed a waterproof bike made out of paper as part of the Stanford ME310 program.
“I’m always looking for opportunities to develop myself and learn new. It’s very important to me to be able to work in projects where I can learn and have those enlightened aha moments. The philosophy of Columbia Road in very close to my own. I was immediately thrown into a project when I started to work here, which is exactly how I like to work: Learn by doing and make use of design thinking methods with a happy customer as my main goal,” Victoria says enthusiastically.
“What we love about Victoria is that she has the ability to work on the whole vertical beginning from strategy planning, going into prototyping and testing, taking those results further into implementation and building UI which then finally leads up to a solution for the customer’s problem,” says Managing Partner Lauri Eloranta.
On her free time Victoria is passionate about cooking - she always stacks some staples such as pesto, parmesan, lemons and cherry tomatoes to ensure a delicious dinner. And being French, she enjoys to shop, especially online which makes her a self-taught specialist on what works in ecommerce and what not. But most of all, her favorite thing to do is laser cutting, which she thinks is a great hands-on design exercise. Victoria’s energy, motivation and curiosity shine through from everything she does, and she’s one the most heartfelt people we’ve ever met.
